    I believe the key purpose is not the emission of the high frequencies to the air, but rather transferring by the line... the ferrite core elliminates any hf entering the device from the line snd/or exitting of hf from device to the line

    So... can you use any resistor do fool the phone and use an external power supply? I have two old Nokia N-Gages with dead batteries, it would be nice having them powering on again with this method.

    • @RonMattino
      @RonMattino 5 днів тому

      No, not any resistor. You have to use the same value as the original battery. If you still have those batteries, you can use a multimeter to measure resistance between the negative and middle terminal, and then use the same value resistor on your phone. But as far as I remember, Nokias use a resistor something around 70k.

    This video is INSANELY salty.. what in the world? Here is a breakdown of every single minute of crazy things you have said in this video up until I couldn't take anymore BS and it was not productive so I stopped watching. Bro, DID YOU JUST CALL HIM OUT FOR SAYING BBS SYSTEM? Because the S in BBS stands for system? BBS System: "Bulletin Board System System". PIN Number: "Personal Identification Number Number". ATM Machine: "Automated Teller Machine Machine". HIV Virus: "Human Immunodeficiency Virus Virus". LCD Display: "Liquid Crystal Display Display". GPS System: "Global Positioning System System". ISBN Number: "International Standard Book Number Number". RIP in peace: "Rest in Peace in peace". AC Current: "Alternating Current Current". DC Current: "Direct Current Current". Did you just say ACOUSTIC MODELS ARE ONLY USED UNDERWATER?? Did you honestly google what an acoustic modem is? It's used in a freaking TELEPHONE.. bruh. Ok, this is crazy. It was not a term he said out of nowhere.. And I see comments of people saying you threw shade at Cobol and Fortran on this video?? What! Fortran outdated for 80s?? How did you think we went to the moon bruh? How did you think the integer system that we used, to go to the moon came about? hAcKiNg Is MoStLy AsSemBly.... yea, if you have a serial cable conneted directly on the board. Not from 1000s of miles away from the server.. WHAT! Learning assembly is not gonna let you hack into any network systems bud.. Also if you know Fortran, you MUST know assembly really well. I think The hacker mentions that in his video as well. And what pascal? Pascal is for people who can't code and need safety and abstractions... Did you just completely lie about what reverse engineering is? How do you think, brother, that, so many of x86 stuff was ported over to ARM? They had access to the schematics of the chips? aCtuAlLy "building a chip programmer device is a big deal". Any competent programmer without any degree can do this following some random engineering youtuber on youtube, I DID THIS MYSELF! no degree required.. And you can't be referring to that time, since he did not mention doing that. Brother you got the hole mining stage thing too wrong too... long before using software installed on normal PCs were popular or dedicated GPUs were used. There were special mining computers.. this is what a friend of mine used back in around 2012 or before that. I do however with your take on the backdoor banking shit he said, that made ABSOLUTELY NO sense, so that was the only good point you raised so far that I understood. Again, you said a bunch of lies about what web servers and servers are and their functions. Any programming language can open a socket connection open on any port and can be used for WEB COMMUNICATION, http and https ports are popular ports for the browser to grab HTML. Web is beyond HTML, it's not through popular ports that an attack is made usually, brother come on. No actual server running a nix OS will have random ports open.. you can't be a network administrator if you can't manage basic firewall.. There is no way anything important is hacked over randomly opened port LMAO. "You don't run them", bro you are literally trying to pick up straws here.. like how salty does someone have to be man.. It is perfectly fine to say "Web server running vulnerable ports", someone who understands computers will understand what this means, what in the world bruh? Anyone who works on the linux kernel networking subsystem, which are thousands of people, quality as a hacker, according to your definition.

      The first software used to mine Bitcoin (2009) ran on PC and was called Bitcoin-Qt (later known as Bitcoin Core). Then, as hash rate grew, Bitcoin was mined on GPU rigs and later on (and up to this day) on ASICs. ASIC chips were manufactured by Bitmain and MicroBT and installed in dedicated mining machines also produced and sold by these companies. So, what was he really trying to say? That he programmed ASIC chips? Or built a machine that used them? That's very unlikely. I've never heard about anyone building ASIC machines from scratch. Super computer, eh? The terminology he uses is not professional, it's very mainstream. It also indicates he knows very little about mining.

    • @OT-tn7ci
      @OT-tn7ci 4 дні тому

      @RonMattino I understand he used mainstream terms, which are not technically correct, but he was explaining things to a wide audience. Also ASIC miners were around since the end of 2012, a friend of mine had one in 2013.

    Gummo definitely used this video to get some publicity to get more celebrity clients. But none of the things he talked about can actually be disputed, I feel like most of ya'll just hating on him because he was years ahead of everyone else at the time. Literally NOTHING technical he talked about can be disputed. I know a guy just liked him, back in around 2012 actually that bought one of the first mining rigs and was running it to generate around 40~ish bitcoins. And he sold almost all of it for half the price cuz our government takes huge tax on recieving payment on USD. When I was around 3 years old, back in around 2003 or 2, my mom used to fucking cut off the dsl cable going to the telephone booth, extend it, use a 6 pin crimper to crimp the cable and get internet on my computer, albeit, extremely slow. So like, these things happen, a lot of things happen back int the time. Nothing about gummo can actually be disputed, just accpet it guys.

    • @RonMattino
      @RonMattino 4 дні тому

      You don't use mining rigs to mine Bitcoin. Bitcoin is mined on asics. Mining rigs (that contained video cards) were used for mining Ethereum mostly, and some other less popular coins.
